Who Should Attend?

These one and two week courses will benefit graduate students and practicing public health professionals such as physicians, nurses, pharmacists, veterinarians and other health professionals. These courses are being offered to students and the community of working public health professionals for academic credit or continuing education. CEU's, ANCC and Iowa nursing contact hours are available for all courses, and AMA PRA Category 1™ credits are offered for the Infectious Disease course only.

  • To educate the public health workforce.
  • To expose graduate students to current issues and skills needed in public health.
  • To improve the health of the general public.
  • To provide a multidisciplinary network with a diverse group of learners.
  • To create an opportunity for the University of Wisconsin faculty and staff to disseminate information to the community.
